Simply entering the building gives you energy. People are different here: they’re curious, tuned in. They’re grounded in the real world - not something they get
from reading reports. They don’t stop at the first hurdle, they don’t take no for an answer: there’s always a way.
They learn from trying things out, so they try out a lot of things. And if they get it wrong, there’s no fear of blame or finger-pointing. The only thing people fear here is giving less than they’re capable of. People trust each other, and are open and supportive about the things they want to get better at.
And yes, the track record of these companies is admirable. Not because they’re all full of geniuses, but because
they’ve figured out how to make everyone and everything fire on all cylinders.
If we had to name one common characteristic of
companies like this, it’s creativity.
Sometimes it’s BIG CREATIVITY: exciting new products and processes -
ideas that transform the business and create completely new markets.
Ideas that restore people’s passion and evangelism.
More often, it’s about smaller acts of creativity: ideas that improve and refine the way a business does business.
Ideas that make things work better, function more smoothly.
Little things that customers really notice. And ‘small
creativity’ can be a big thing: some of the most-loved businesses in the
world got that way just by putting a lot of little
ideas together.
The key thing about these great companies is that creativity is everywhere:
everyone in all areas of the business is tuned into the possibility of
creative contribution. And they think of themselves, at least some of time,
as creative problem-solvers.
But creativity-in-business rarely happens all by itself. And that’s
where we step in.
We help you become the creative company you want to be, and want to work for. We do that by addressing two factors driving creativity in business:
First, we help to create the processes, structures and - crucially - the atmosphere in which creative behavior flourishes. Because as any creative practitioner will
tell you, you’re only as good as your circumstances allow you to be.
Second, we help individuals in businesses access their own creative powers, regardless of their position or experience.
We believe that absolutely everyone has creativity in their DNA: they just don’t always know how to get at it.And we have been amazed, time and again, by the energy and simple joy liberated in people when they discover that they, too, are creative beings.
In a nutshell, Bone Coaching use sound, common-sense psychology combined with a thorough understanding of commercial life to produce meaningful
improvement in business creativity. In a smaller nutshell.....Creative Business for All.
We’ll start by getting to know you as human beings, within the system you’ve created for yourselves.
We’ll find out what does and doesn’t work, in practice. We’ll help you identify the things that support (or stand in the way of) creativity, often quite subtle things that are easy to fix.
We’ll generally recommend working together on something tangible: a problem that needs to be solved, or a specific creative challenge.
That way, you can judge our impact in your business straight away.
And we’ll define the opportunity with you, so you get results that you need and want. It’s very personal, and very personalized.
Our work with you might include one or some of the following:
